Agreement and service

These terms govern use of the TabMagnet Chrome extension and tabmagnet.com website. If you do not agree, do not use them. TabMagnet is currently a free browser productivity tool. The public product does not sell a subscription, require a TabMagnet account, or promise continuous availability.

The extension lets users configure where new tabs appear and which tab becomes active after one closes. Browser behavior can vary with Chrome versions, other extensions, enterprise policies, tab groups, and operating-system settings. Users should verify important workflows and keep Chrome updated.

Acceptable use

You may use the extension and public guides for lawful personal or business browsing. You may not interfere with the website or extension, attempt unauthorized access, distribute malware, abuse support channels, misrepresent an affiliation, violate another person's privacy or intellectual-property rights, or use the service to facilitate unlawful activity.

Chrome Web Store and third parties

Installation and updates may be delivered through the Chrome Web Store and are also subject to Google's applicable terms and policies. Chrome Sync, GitHub, hosting, email, and any future analytics or advertising services are operated by their respective providers. TabMagnet is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google or Chrome.

Intellectual property and open source

The TabMagnet name, original website text, visual identity, and project-specific materials are protected by applicable law. Source code made available in the linked repository may be used under the license included with that repository; the repository license does not grant rights to third-party trademarks or materials.

Changes, suspension, and support

Features may change, be suspended, or be discontinued for security, compatibility, legal, or maintenance reasons. We may restrict abusive access to the website. Support is offered on a best-effort basis through support@tabmagnet.com; no fixed response or resolution time is promised.

Disclaimer and liability

The extension and website are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every browser configuration, data recovery, search rankings, advertising approval, or a particular productivity result. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.

Changes and contact
